The Anudra Rope is a handmade rope eye patch: full-grain black leather on a soft rope strap, a warm, characterful alternative to the classic elastic band. One patch fits either eye.

No. The leather is molded into a dome that sits over the eye, and only the soft foam edge rests on the skin around it.

One of the main selling points is that there are separate eye compresses for each eye. I have tried other eye masks, but they had one big eye cover, not two separate, smaller ones that conform to each eye. It is really important to follow the microwave heating instructions and test the heat before applying the eye mask to your eyes. It should stay warm for approximately 15 minutes. What I like most is that the moist heat comes from small ceramic beads in each section. You don't need to add water from an outside source. The eye mask is reusable and comes with detailed cleaning and storage instructions, which I found to be very helpful. The eye mask seems to be very well constructed and won't wear out easily. The hook-and-loop closure on the back is helpful so that the mask is easy to put on without messing up my hair. The eye mask is not only helpful for dry eyes; it is also great for eye strain, screen overexposure, and calming itchy eyes. I will be ordering a second eye mask for my husband, who is prone to styes.
