One of the main selling points is that there are separate eye compresses for each eye. I have tried other eye masks, but they had one big eye cover, not two separate, smaller ones that conform to each eye. It is really important to follow the microwave heating instructions and test the heat before applying the eye mask to your eyes. It should stay warm for approximately 15 minutes. What I like most is that the moist heat comes from small ceramic beads in each section. You don't need to add water from an outside source. The eye mask is reusable and comes with detailed cleaning and storage instructions, which I found to be very helpful. The eye mask seems to be very well constructed and won't wear out easily. This Anudra compress stands out for its excellent instructions: they're unusually detailed, clearly written, printed in legible type, and are supplied both on a card in full and summarized on a double-sided cloth label sewn onto the elastic strap (a very convenient touch that saves having to consult the card each time).I like the design of that head strap because its hook-and-loop closure allows it to be opened all the way so you can simply lie face up and let the weight of the compress keep it in place if that's more. The only portion of the directions that didn't make sense to me was the statement that the compress could be used for a single eye only by sliding one of the bead-filled pouches off the strap; this was confusing because the eye pouches seem to be sewn securely in place to the strap.The instructions describe how to wash and dry the compress, which is really helpful and an advantage over the others I've used. Not many eyepatches have any design to them, so this jumps out for its intricacy and aesthetic
Just to be clear, I got this for a pirate costume, so I’m not juding it for everyday use. Most of the ones I’ve seen are just plain in nature, and have no real character to them. But this one jumps out with the detail around the edges and the roughened leather look. Also, you choose the right or left eye so it’s not just a plain triangle trying to serve double-duty. So that puts it a real cut above the rest, especially when you’re trying to add age, texture, and details to your pieces, and worth the money.
It’s a very comfortable fit, with an adjustable elastic band, and the shape of the patch fits like a glove over the socket. The strap can than stretch over the ear on one side, and up over the eyebrow on the other, like your classic Hollywood buccaneer.

Very high quality material eye patch but too small to actually function on my face
This is a beautiful eye patch made out of incredibly nice material. It is genuine leather and there’s actually two types of leather in it .
The strap is elastic with an adjuster on it and it’s very easy to get a adjusted to fit properly on my head .
It has a little hole up in the corner of the eye patch which is probably to let ventilation in but it also lets light in .
I have a rather large face I wear a size 8 hat and the problem is this eye patch was too small to function and keep the light out .
I tried it several different ways and none of them were satisfactory as far as keeping the light out of the eye.
I own several eye patches and this is by far the smallest and in my case two small to do the job.
Otherwise the material is great and for someone with a small head or small eye area it might work perfectly.

Decent eye patch.
This is a decent eye patch. It of an OK quality. The foam isn’t quite as soft as I had hoped. It is not bad though. Patch does have an opening on it for airflow. Opening does allow a little bit of light in. Something to be aware of. Patch looks and feels like real leather. It has 2 different types of leather on it. One type has some interesting looking texture while the other type is just smooth. Strap is an elastic fabric. Strap feels smooth and has a bit of a shine to it. Loop on the strap is a ferrous metal. This is pretty decent. Might be on the expensive side though.
