One of the main selling points is that there are separate eye compresses for each eye. I have tried other eye masks, but they had one big eye cover, not two separate, smaller ones that conform to each eye. It is really important to follow the microwave heating instructions and test the heat before applying the eye mask to your eyes. It should stay warm for approximately 15 minutes. What I like most is that the moist heat comes from small ceramic beads in each section. You don't need to add water from an outside source. The eye mask is reusable and comes with detailed cleaning and storage instructions, which I found to be very helpful. The eye mask seems to be very well constructed and won't wear out easily. The hook-and-loop closure on the back is helpful so that the mask is easy to put on without messing up my hair. The eye mask is not only helpful for dry eyes; it is also great for eye strain, screen overexposure, and calming itchy eyes. I will be ordering a second eye mask for my husband, who is prone to styes.

Disappointing product
There is a foam rim around the inside perimeter of the eye patch. This serves to provide a more comfortable fit. The foam is held in place by an adhesive. After about 6 weeks the foam came loose. At that point the patch could not be worn. A sticky adhesive area around the rim where the foam was, now sticks to the skin or eyebrows. The build quality is disappointing, especially considering the price of the product. I would not recommend this product.

Comfortable eye patch
Surprisingly comfortable thanks to the soft foam padding. It conforms well around the eye instead of pressing directly against it, and the adjustable strap made it easy to get a secure fit. The faux leather also looks nicer than the inexpensive costume eye patches I’ve seen.

Good build quality, ambi-ocular, reasonably comfortable!
I ordered this patch to use for a pirate costume around Halloween, expecting something cheap and flimsy. Turns out it really is made from leather, and has a fairly comfortable design that will fit either eye. It’s simple to adjust the band to fit the patch tightly, and while it was a little stiff to begin with , after some wear time the leather changes shape a bit to fit your individual skull.
It makes a nearly perfect seal over my eyes, so would be useful if you needed to fully block light. The foam is not overly squishy, but reasonably comfortable.
Only complaint I have is that it doesn’t appear intuitive how to remove the band for washing, and I expect it would get a little funky after some wear time, exercising or running around in a costume. Overall well worth the price, I think it would be decent for permanent use.

Best Eyepatch I’ve Tried. Comfortable and Well Designed
This eyepatch truly stands out because of its unique 3D contoured dome shape. It works incredibly well at maintaining comfort while wearing it and most importantly, it doesn’t touch my eyelids at all. There’s no pressure, which was a huge issue for me with other eyepatches I’ve tried in the past.
That design alone was the main reason I decided to give this one a try, and I’m really glad I did. It stays comfortable even with extended wear and doesn’t feel irritating or restrictive. If you’ve struggled with traditional eyepatches pressing against your eye or lashes, this is a great solution. Highly recommend.

This will be great for a first aid kit, and will work well for daily use, if it fits you well
I had a bout of Bell’s Palsy a few years ago, and was unable to blink on one side of my face for a while. An eye patch was needed to help keep that eye covered and from drying out, and I wish I’d found a decent quality, non-oriented patch like this one at the time, because it kind of sucks to pay higher prices for nicer eye patches and only be able to wear them on one side, should the need arise to cover the other eye later.
It is nice that this one is designed to fit either eye. And that may work very well on some faces, but there may be some compromises made for others. While the “3D” feature keeps the patch out far enough that it does not press on the eye or eyelashes, the overall contour of the foam used to “seal” the patch does not do quite as well at blocking light around the corners of either of my eyes, compared to how well my fitted eye patch does, on the eye its designed for.
That said, this would certainly be better than nothing in a pinch, and its versatility would be handy to have in any first aid kit. In such cases having it available is probably more important than having the perfect fit.
The eye patch itself looks good and the leather is finished well with no obvious finish defects, burrs, or fuzzing at the edges. The band that goes around the head is very long and can be adjusted for any size of head, and is wide enough to be comfortable for a full day’s wear.
Value-wise, this is mixed. While it is priced about on par with other leather, fitted (specifically left or right) eye patches or sets of patches, you can shop around and find absolutely identical eye patches for as little as one-third of what this one costs. Those cheaper versions may or may not have the foam padding around the edge that this version highlights, but given that I had trouble getting a fully light-tight seal with this one, the foam might not be worth the upcharge.
That said, face and eye shapes are absolutely unique, and what isn’t a perfect fit for me or any other person is likely to be spot-on for someone else. So all else being equal, I’d say this is probably one to keep on your short list if you’re shopping around and other patches don’t quite seem to fit you, and is probably worth adding to your cart if you’re ordering several styles at once to find out which works best for you.

This is a fantastic eye patch! I have regular eye treatments that sometimes require me to leave my eye covered for a while, and I have tried many different patches over the years with varying degrees of success.
This one is by far the most comfortable I have used. The foam insert is just the right height so you don’t feel the patch pressing on your lashes at all. Since it’s made of genuine leather and the strap well stitched, it feels and looks like it will last a very long time. The leather is already molding to my face, making it even more comfortable. On long days, I hardly knew I was wearing it. The strap is quite long, easily adjustable, and stays exactly where you put it without lengthening or slipping on its own.
It works perfectly for either the left or right side. Since it is handmade from quality leather, I feel like it’s a good value for the price. Really, really like it—5 stars for sure!

This is a high quality leather patch that I got to use with my costume for the Renfaire.
