More for cosolay than eye training
This eye patch is definitely geared more for cosplay than for lazy eye therapy. The material is very hard and not comfortable at all. I did buy it to help with training my eye but I have to put something under this notch to wear for a long time without any discomfort. The band is stretchy and it does stay in place. I will say that the size of the patch is standard and it does provide full coverage but there isn’t anything about that sets itself apart compared to others. The quality is durable and I don’t see it breaking too easily.

Decent Eyepatch But Material Felt Too Firm
This eyepatch did the job overall, but I personally didn’t love the material. It felt a little too firm and put more pressure over the covered eye than I expected. I would probably prefer something softer and more cushioned for better comfort, especially for longer wear. This one came off more on the hard side for me. Other than that, the fit was okay and it stayed in place well.

A great eye patch that is comfortable to wear and stays in place.
Not too long ago I had swelling behind my right eye, which cause everything to be uneven with both eyes open. Because of the disorientation, I had to keep my right eye closed, which is harder than you might think, when you need to do it for long stretches of time. Anyway, I didn’t realize how long it was going to last, and was focused on getting it fixed, so didn’t think I needed to get an eye patch. By the time I realized I wish I had an eye patch, the steroids had started working. When I saw this being offered as a Vine item, I decided to grab it up in case this issue flares up again. And if all else fails, I can dressed as a pirate when I hand out candy for halloween. 😉🦜 As I said in the subject line, it is comfortable to wear. I gave it about 40 minutes just to make certain it felt good, and I didn’t have any complaints. Since I’d never worn one before, it took me a minute to figure out I needed to pull the straps up. Having a patch where it automatically follows the angle you need to wear on your face, would be nice. But with stretchy cord it’s not really necessary.

Upscale rigid eye patch
This sturdy eyepatch offers serious protection with its hard structure and soft foam liner. I was delighted to open the package to find an odor free eye patch, which is especially important for a product that’s worn near the sinuses.
The convex domed shape that cups your eye allows for blinking without eyelashes touching the patch. It has a matte finish and seems to be well made, strong and durable. The patch and adjustable elastic strap are both a no-nonsense solid black, making it appropriate for men and women. If an eye patch could look stylish, this one comes pretty close. It would be great for costume parties.
It can be worn on either eye, which has advantages, but also makes the fit a bit finicky. My cheekbone prevents the patch from seating correctly to block all light. The light wants to seep in around the bottom near my nose where it’s a bit too big for the shape of my face preventing a completely tight fit. But it’s still extremely protective and quite comfortable regardless.
When my eyes are tired at night I tend to get double vision while watching TV, and often close one eye to see clearly. I thought this patch might be a more comfortable solution than having to consciously keep one eye lid closed. The description states it’s an appropriate post-op patch for eye surgeries, and for lazy eye and other issues.
Whether you have a practical purpose or want it for cosplay this versatile. handmade eyepatch is a good bet. It’s a high quality item for a fair price. Lookin’ good.

Sturdy, comfortable, and actually stays put
This Kydex eye patch works really well. It feels way more solid and premium than the flimsy pirate-costume-style patches, but the soft foam padding keeps it from feeling harsh against your face.
The fit is comfortable for adult use, and it does a good job blocking light without feeling bulky or awkward. I also like that it has that tough handmade Kydex feel, so it seems like it can actually hold up instead of bending, fraying, or getting sad after a few uses.
It’s practical, comfortable, and has just enough “mysterious person with a backstory” energy without looking ridiculous. Overall, a very well-made eye patch that does exactly what I needed it to do.

Extremely good quality for the price!
Comfortable to wear and much better quality in build than anything. I have handled before out of a general store. You can tie the elastic to adjust the tightness, but it still has an elasticity so it’s not a matter of just using a string. Great for practical use if you have an injured or missing eye or even if you just need it for a costume. Great value for the dollar and very high-quality in my opinion!

Great quality
I needed something to close one eye without interfering the other and this eye patch is just the thing. Very comfortable, soft padded and with stretchable but comfortable elastic to hold in place. Truly awesome product. The padding is soft, cushiony and doesn’t pinch in eye socket. Worth it for sure.

Pricey but effective
This item arrived quickly, securely packed, undamaged & as described. Although I consider this eyepatch to be overpriced, it effectively works as intended. Durably manufactured this item should be able to endure much use with proper care. Designed with a hard protective outer shell & soft foam interior makes it lightweight, breathable & comfortable to wear. Concurrently the adjustable elastic band provides a secure fit enabling it to accommodate varying sized heads. Personally I’ve been using it to help correct my lazy eye and have no complaint other than it’s exorbitant price. That being said if price isnt a concern this one will definitely meet your needs. My four star rating is based solely on pricing as I find it prefect in every way. Hopefully this vendor takes my aforementioned pricing observations into consideration by lowering it a bit. In my opinion doing so will not only increase sales but possibly prevent consumers from seeking less expensive alternatives elsewhere.

Works as intended, but over-priced and not the most comfortable
This is a « bare bones » product. It isn’t anything spectacular, but will get the job done. Picked this up to use for optometrist prescribed eye exercises and it willl work as needed for such. It would also make an fun costume prop that’s just a touch higher quality than those found at a party store.
Arriving in a compact little bundle, this little guy takes up very little space and would fit easily in a pocket. I was suprised to feel thst this was constructed of hard, textured plastic. The rounded, hard plastic cup do seem very protective though. Being advertised as « padded », I espected something more soft, cusiony and « sealing » for the eye area. As it is, at least there is a somewhat padded perimeter which softens the edge just enough to be a little easier on the delicate eye area. While it doesnt completely block light, it helps the cup to seal just a little better around the area. Depending on individual facial contours, this may or may not be enough to block all light. I did find it to do the job well enough for my needs.
The attached cord is soft and springy, with an adjustable cinch button. This aspect will be comfortable against the head while still ensuring a secure fit. All in all, this is a decent product but I would never pay this high of a price for it. In my opinion this is a $5 product. It works, but there are guaranteed to be better options out there.
